Monologue part 4

This was my best recording of my monologue so far. This is because I am becoming a lot more confident with the lines and not having to think too much about them when saying them. It is becoming a lot more natural and easier for me to fall into the character. It is good for me because I have now ran it a good few times and my body language is becoming more for the character.

Video one:
This was the best out of all of them. I liked how you started it off by huffing. I like how you smiled because you looked a little evil, like a bully. You came closer to the camera which I liked too. Try using a pen and point at her with it when you direct some things to her. You are getting better, well done.

This feedback has been the best out of all of the videos I have sent to my partner. She is giving me some things that I could add in to help the character development and something that I can do with my hands instead of staying still the whole time. I also need to work on my posture because my shoulders are still a little hunched and I seem tense when speaking. I need to make sure that I am relaxed and therefore everything will flow a little easier.
Overall, I should only have to record my monologue another few times to have the movement and the lines there. This will then be used if I have any auditions and I will have the confidence to give some feedback on the students’ performances and monologues to allow them to improve.
