Budget sheet
This is our budget sheet that my partner and I had worked on together. Some of these costs such as the camera and laptop are going to be a one time purchase and therefore in the next yearly budget sheet, this can be taken off which will increase our income even more. The ticket sales and the merchandise were rough estimates because we have not made them yet, or we have not sold anything yet. This means out of the maximum number of students, this is what we had thought about them buying or the ratio of family and friend to the general public for ticket sales. This can always be edited as well when the actual numbers come in for the sales, but this is a starter for us and our sheet.
We had originally looked at a different venue (The Marina Theatre in Lowestoft), however when looking at the prices of hiring the venue, it would cost too much for us to even consider it a possible venue. Using that venue, we would have put ourselves at a negative and this would not become a sustainable business for myself and my partner. Then we looked at The Seagull Theatre, which is also in Lowestoft. Unfortunately, we did not get an email back from them about the accurate prices, however someone advised us on what they knew the price was, but again this can be altered when the emails are coming through. This was a more suitable venue for us with the price and the space is not too big for a class of between 15 and 20. We would be able to work in this venue well and have space for all of the students to work on a stage and off a stage. This is better for us to make a profit instead of being in debt with the business.
